Dear Parents, Families, and Friends,
Saugatuck Nursery School suffered extensive damage due to a tragic fire on Sunday, November 20th. Amazing efforts have been put forth by the Board of Directors, teachers, their families and the community at large. Due to the generosity of the Westport/Weston YMCA, we are temporarily operating at their facility, 59 Post Road East, Westport, CT 06880. The YMCA has many amenities to offer and has welcomed us with open arms.
We are all so thrilled to be back together again. The children haven't missed a beat and the parents love our door-to-door valet service. We celebrated our joyful reunion with a fabulous trip to the Palace Theatre for a performance of Good Night Moon and The Runaway Bunny, complete with lunch overlooking the city. Our fantastic enrichment programs are continuing and we couldn't be happier. Our school continues to operate as an independent entity and our philosophy and curriculum remain the same.
Our enrollment for next year continues. I welcome all inquiries and look forward to showing you how the best little nursery school in town has persevered under extreme circumstances. We look forward to returning to the Church where a brand new, state-of-the-art school will be waiting for us.
