Dear Parents, Families, and Friends,
Saugatuck Nursery School suffered extensive damage due to a tragic fire on Sunday, November 20th, 2011. Amazing efforts have been put forth by the Board of Directors, teachers, their families and the community at large. After spending three months in borrowed space at the Westport YMCA, our school at last has a place to call home, while we await our permanent space to be rebuilt.
As of March 1st, 2012, Saugatuck Nursery School is operating inside the facilities of the First Church of Christ Scientist, whose membership has warmly welcomed us (55 Compo Road South, Westport, CT 06880). Here, our fantastic enrichment programs are continuing and we couldn't be happier. Our school continues to operate as an independent entity and our philosophy and curriculum remain the same.
Our enrollment for next year continues. I welcome all inquiries and look forward to showing you how the best little nursery school in town has persevered under extreme circumstances. We look forward to returning to the Church where a brand new, state-of-the-art school will be waiting for us.
